Sarah, Josh and their team sought planning permission for me to cut through from our kitchen to the lounge in a grade II listed building of significant in Portsmouth. There were plenty of paperwork hurdles that they had to overcome which they navigated flawlessly and professionally. When the building work was underway there was, as usual, other hurdles that needed overcoming. Josh, in particular, managed to re-submit structural calcs to building control in near-zero time when the pressure was on so, as I said at the time, not all heroes wear capes! I wouldn't hesitate to use them again, in fact, they're already booked in for my next "bright idea". In short, highly recommended!

Extremely professional service from start to finish. Sarah conducted initial meeting then kept me fully informed as things progressed. She successfully negotiated some difficulties through with the planning department, with the site being in Chichester Harbour AONB this was no mean feat but conducted quietly and efficiently with the minimum of fuss. Callum provided excellent service with drawings being updated as my requirements evolved displaying immense patience as I changed yet more detail. Costs appear to be about standard, nothing exceptional and everything is open and up front however the service has been well above industry average, I rate it as excellent , especially given the current circumstances. I will certainly use CAAD again for my next project, which from me means there is no better recommendation.

I was in need of an experienced architect to help me through the tricky process of my first new build and I had a fantastic help from Critchley Architecture. To Martin and your fantastic team I must say a big thank you . The patience that you have all had and the amount of help that you have given me has been absolutely first class. I am very grateful and thankful to you all for always returning my emails and calls answering my many questions. For designing the courtyard slab at the last second and your guidance when things got a bit tricky. If you hadn't have been so helpful it would have been a much more difficult, and time consuming experience so I am very grateful.

I am a developer and I have used Martin Critchley and his professional enthusiastic team for many years. They have designed small extensions up to a block of ten flats for me. They take care of the design, structural calculations and whole planning process which makes life very easy. Friends often ask me if i can recommend an architect (as a developer I try not to recommend anyone as it tends to backfire especially to friends) but, I do not hesitate in offering up CAAD, who I have complete faith and confidence in.

Got to say Josh has been great, I was referred to Critchley Architects by my builder and they have been so much easier to work with than the initial firm I tried. I was getting ripped off and Josh came and sorted my drawing and then kindly drew up a range of specs for me to get in the items I needed. Excellent customer service and general communication. Would definitely recommend, thanks Josh.
